Breaking the cycle

Breaking the cycle is serving matzoh ball soup to my friend-family and giving everyone– including me– two large matzoh balls and plenty of broth.

Breaking the cycle is giving myself as much as I give to others.

Breaking the cycle is realizing that I was having trouble feeling sadness tonight because, actually, I am feeling angry.

Breaking the cycle is watching myself and observing that when I am angry I instantly internalize and want to stuff away.

Breaking the cycle is coming home and taking care of myself.

Breaking the cycle is giving myself as much as I give to others.
